This year my one word focus is thankful. Why? Because being thankful leads to joy. Because we only get one life. Because the Lord says to be thankful for everything.
A gift in sky, water, memory
61. The sky is steely gray today. Behind all that steely gray is the promise of blue skies and sunshine.
62. But before the sunshine, those steely gray clouds will rain down water in the beautiful form of snowflakes.
63. And I remember a childhood of sleigh rides, igloos, ice-skating, and a snowman 7 feet tall, built with excitement and joy.
