Making resolutions is a thing of the past. Now I focus on living a single word for the whole year. 2016 is the year I am choosing to live generous.
Why generous? Let’s just say, I’ve spent most of my life looking out for me. Absorbing all the negative in this world took a toll on me. The heartache, the heartbreak, led to a deeply professional level of cynicism that I just don’t want any part of anymore.
Jesus gave his all for me so I could be free. His was the ultimate in generosity. Now it’s time for me to mirror his perfect example the best I can with his help.
Yes. Generous. It’s my word for 2016.
