1691. That God is working in me to change, to want to do all the things that please him, that I don’t have to do any of it on my own.
1692. Even when a case gets booked at the end of a long day and I want to go home but don’t,want,to make someone drive in to work because I’ll only end up having to stay a little bit past the end of my shift and I’m tired and grouchy but the appendix was ruptured and the patient was suffering.

1693. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭ESV
1694. For the light that is shining in me today and each day I wake up‬‬ and the mercy of God when the light is dim.
1695. Finding out my plan to extend my contract in Tucson was thwarted by the corporation that owns the hospital because they say they have too many travelers must mean God has a different plan and I will trust in him.

1697. That God’s justice always prevails no matter what people think and it applies to every person on the planet, including me. Because I don’t want to get away with my sin because if I do, then I am far from God and in a pitiful state.
1698. God knows the desires of my heart. He knows my Dreaming and praying.

1699. “When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.” Psalms‬ ‭94:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

1701. First power failure of the year happening during a full moon with plenty of solar lights because I’m a camper again. And the temperature is under 90°.

1702. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians‬ ‭5:22-25‬ ‭ESV‬‬
1703. That even when I’m at my worst your Spirit never leaves me and each day is a do over.

  1. Your recent job journey has been so tough – but how I admire your dedication and resolve to trust God in it! That speaks deeply to me. I’m praying this new venture in Phoenix works out for you, and that it will indeed be a final destination for you. I love reading your *gratitudes* – and this week’s favorites, #1689 (seriously? How awesome!!) and #1694 – the mercy of God when the light is dim. I love that.

    GOD BLESS!
