He fights for me

In the ongoing saga of micey vs the IRS, I did the best I could in trying to get the school who says I worked for them when I didn’t to do the right thing, to send a revised 1099. I sent them a registered letter asking them to do the right thing or face legal action.

At the same time, I sent the IRS a letter stating I did everything I could. I also asked why it was my responsibility to chase down a company that made the mistKe when I have a full time job? Isn’t that the IRS’s full time job??

Then I did the most important thing I could. I layer it before God. I asked God to fight the battle for me because this one is way too ridiculous.

I got a new letter from the IRS saying they will now go to the source and investigate. They said they don’t usually have to do this because most people are able to take care of their income issues.

Me? I don’t care what the letter says. God intervened! All praise goes to Him!

1 Samuel 17
46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, 47 and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

Amen! Thank you Jesus!

  1. I’m so glad they’re looking into it! I feel like whenever the enemy wants to rattle me, he uses administrative messes that threaten to take up all of our time and energy. That was so smart to lay it before Jesus and let Him fight the battle. Isn’t it amazing when we see how much He really does love us and fight for us?

    • It’s so amazing. What’s worse is how long I fretted about the whole thing. I know God has it. I know the truth will prevail. God is good!

  2. This is good news! I can’t believe that they wouldn’t have done this long before now…well, actually I guess I can believe it. Sigh.

Can’t wait to see how God *fights* this battle! You go, God!!
