This was on the notice board in the OR today. Most people lose internet, cable, or satellite because of rain storms. But we do things the uber cool way here on the Africa Mercy. We lose our services to solar flares. Uh-huh. That’s right. Word. I particularly like that we can track solar flares on a calendar. 😀

*Just received a Facebook comment from one of the guys from the IS department. Apparently, the notice should have read solar outages, not solar flares. Uh-huh. Sure. Smoothing it over so as not to create widespread panic. I get it. ;)*
