the other Las Palmas

I’ve been in Las Palmas for a month now. I’ve been wondering where the rest of the city is? You know, the parts where the local folks live? Like the shopkeepers, the bus drivers, the garbage collectors, and dock workers, where do they live? I went out over the weekend. Instead of following the tourist signs, I went the other way. I was rewarded with finding the other Las Palmas.

  1. Dear Micey
You were truly blessed to find the heart of Las Palmas. I love the spirit of humility in your photos.
    Blessings

  2. Great pictures here…a really good landscape of photos of “the people” and where they live their life. I keep thinking of Jesus’s parable of “going out to the byways” searching for people. Good for you for breaking away from the crowd…following is boring!
