Mercy Ships delivers free, world-class healthcare services to the forgotten poor in developing nations. More than 1,500 crew members from around the globe serve annually. Each one volunteers his/her services to help fulfill the mission of Mercy Ships.
My journey to Africa began shortly after I became a Christian in 2005. Somebody mentioned a mission trip which led to the memory of a dream to visit Africa. I’ve been dreaming of Africa every single day since! In 2008, I signed up for a one-week, short-term trip to Haiti. The minute my feet hit the ground, I knew I was born to be a missionary! Six years and several mission trips later, my life-long dream has become a reality! After spending 7 months with Mercy Ships through training and serving onboard the Africa Mercy in Guinea, I am currently on leave in the states to tie up loose ends, to visit friends and family, and to raise support. I am returning to the ship in the spring for 2 years! This is a huge step in my life. It’s been 6 years in the making. I’m so excited to be heading back to Africa because I know I’m going with the Lord before me and behind!
How You Can Help:
Will you consider joining my team? More than anything, I need your prayers. But as a volunteer, I am required to cover my room and board, insurance, travel, and incidentals. This adds up to $1000 per month and ensures all funds raised by Mercy Ships are directly allocated for the patient’s needs. I am relying on donations to stay on the ship. Be a part of blessing the people of west Africa with the love and healing power of Jesus Christ by being His hands and feet with me. Together, we can make a difference!
Three Ways To Donate:
1. Crewmates
2. PayPal
3. Check payable to Mercy Ships, account 3248 in memo. Mail to Mercy Ships PO Box 1930, Garden Valley, Texas 75771
Thank you!
